Her classes are available in a choice of languages : German, English, Spanish and French. Melissa’s spiritual name given to her by Yogi Bhajan is Nirvair Kaur, the princess of compassion and understanding. Spiritual names are supposed to help guide you on your spiritual path; they tell you what you need to be focusing on in this lifetime in order to grow. Her reflections on this name and the lessons to be learned from it are that “for compassion to arise there must be no past, forgive and forget, no one is your enemy, be merciful to all, even yourself”. Being kind, compassionate and forgiving to others is easy but to be gentle, loving and nonjudgmental towards one’s self is a challenge worth accepting. |
