With over 20 years of experience as a Yoga Teacher and Lead Kundalini Trainer, I am dedicated to helping you move beyond life’s stresses and into a space of deep self-acceptance. Through the wisdom of yoga, philosophy, and international yoga retreats, I have learned to embrace every part of the human experience with steady energy and a peaceful heart. I warmly invite you to join me on the mat to discover your own inner joy and learn to navigate life’s waves with grace.
I became an Internationally Certified Teacher of Kundalini Yoga (IKYTA) in 2002. The process of personal transformation began. I guess I wasn’t really satisfied with myself nor my life, but I didn’t know how to change everything. Yoga helped me make the change I was craving. Immediately after my initial training, I continued my Level II Advanced Teacher Training to deepen my knowledge of Kundalini yoga, asanas, yogic philosophy, and Ayurveda.
Kundalini guided and supported me. I began a conscious relationship with myself on my mat. Then in 2005, I became a mentor as a teacher trainer and advanced my level to a Lead Trainer (Level III) forming new yoga teachers, as well as leading Kundalini yoga classes and organising retreats in Austria, Croatia, Italy, Greece, France, Corsica and Switzerland.
The postures of Kundalini Yoga gave me the ability to stop my thoughts briefly and to feel my physical blocks and tensions I had created. Thanks to Kundalini, I learned to be in the moment. I learned to be patient and to listen to my body. I no longer run away, nor do I feel like I jog through life. I learned to allow and love each part of me. Especially the parts I didn’t like.
Over time, my energy has become higher and more steady and consistent. I’ve learned to surf the waves whenever I face difficult situations in life. I no longer fear difficulties and obstacles because I learned that these challenges were just there to invite me to grow. I grew into a space so vast that tears, joy, laughter, and even pain are all good. They are all a part of the wonderful human experience called life.
I’d love to invite you to learn to surf the waves of life with me to find the joy inside of you. You’ll never regret it.
Sat Nam,
Melissa
